Boy, we are just bursting with news these days. This is my most favorite thing to post: ways to keep the costs down, and still participate in everything! We are dedicated to providing excellent quality, yet in order to do that, we need to be able to pay for the rights to top-notch shows, pay our teachers well, pay for insurance costs and rent, costumes, etc etc!! It sure adds up! So while we believe we have a very affordable price to begin with, we know that many homeschool families are looking for ways to continue to save, and sometimes need to take drama out entirely in order to get the other classes in. So here’s what you can do:
1. Register for the GODSPELL summer workshop by June 1 and receive $10 off the registration fee!
2. Sell candy!
We have arranged a fundraising deal with Hillard’s House of Candy, located in Easton, Hanover and Canton. Here is how the candy fundraiser works:
Order Candy Boxes (ORDER THIS WEEK if you want to apply this towards the GODSPELL workshop!) by emailing us
Pick up your candy boxes at the performance, or arrange another time to pick them up with Kim Beck.
Sell Candy to your family and friends- $2/bar or 3/$5
Hand in all money on the first day of the workshop to receive your discount!
Here’s how it breaks down:The boxes cost $40 each, so you have to sell AT LEAST $40 worth. This covers the $40 that we paid up front for each box. Box #1: 100% of profits (funds above $40) credited to student account = $40 credit Box #2: 50% of profits (funds above $40) credited to student account, 50% goes to AWIP for licensing fees = $20 credit to student, $20 to AWIP Box #3: 100% of profits (funds above $40) credited to student account = $40 credit Box #4: 50% of profits (funds above $40) credited to student account, 50% to AWIP for licensing fees = $20 credit to student, $20 to AWIP
So, if you are interested in doing this for the summer workshops, order this week! Email aworkinprogress.attleboro at gmail.com and let us know how many boxes you would like. We will have them at the Musical Theatre Revue on May 30th, or you can arrange another time to pick them up.
