Summer Days

It may not be officially summer yet, at least as far as the calendar goes, but it certainly feels like it! The days are long, the crickets are chirping, the temperature is rising, and classes are filling for fall and spring at A Work In Progress! Maybe you’re fully in summer mode and not thinking about what is coming in the next school year. I totally get that! But I don’t want you to miss out on what we have to offer!

Maybe you’d rather be behind the scenes, making the magic happen. Well, guess what. We have a whole department for that too.

One word on our mainstage production. You may already know that we are going to be doing Beauty and the Beast this year. We are so excited to bring this amazing show to the Tolman stage! Apparently, everyone else is pretty excited too because it filled up in record-breaking time. Even the waitlist has filled! But never fear. Junior Production is a great option for the younger crowd ages 7-12. It is going to be a great time exploring the stories of Hans Christian Anderson. We are also doing Our Town in the spring as a staged reading, which allows the actors the ability to really delve into the characters without distraction.

We look forward to learning, growing, and shining with you throughout the coming year. Check out the classes we have available and enjoy your summer!
