Recreational Yoga for ages 12-18

Heather Brown

By special request, this year we are offering a Yoga class for homeschoolers. This class will be an excellent way to introduce students to the practice of yoga. Students will stretch and tone muscles, release chronic tension, de-stress and refresh. Yoga also helps to calm restless thought, cultivate concentration, support mental clarity and confidence. Classes begin with warm-up movements and breath awareness to prepare for yoga postures. The heart of each class is a sequence of postures that stretch, strengthen, and balance your body. No previous yoga experience required. These classes will focus on the physical benefits of yoga. Taught by Certified Yoga Instructor, Heather Brown, students will find the atmosphere encouraging and will leave ready to tackle the rest of the week.

For more information about the class, and to register, click here!

Interested in our classes but not sure what to register for, or have other questions? Then join us on Tuesday, September 5 at noon for our Fall Open House! There, you will meet the teachers, learn more about us, and have the chance to register in person. There are still spots left in our older Swinging Thru History class, Filmmaking course, Creative+Classical Ballet, and Poetry/Prose class.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us or ask us at the Open House!

Till then, #learngrowshine,

Jen Roca for all of us at AWIP
